My name is Migotek and I work in one of the most extraordinary workshops in the world. Where exactly? I can’t reveal that, of course. I’ll just say that in winter we have plenty of snow, reindeer peek in through our windows, and a certain bearded gentleman in a red coat regularly asks:

‘Elves, is everything ready?’ And we reply in unison: ‘Almost, Santa!’

People sometimes imagine our workshop as a huge toy factory. There’s a bit of truth in that, but only a bit.

Yes, there are shelves, boxes, rustling wrapping paper, colourful ribbons and long lists. However, the most important things happen at the little elves’ desks. It is there that we read the children’s names, check their messages and think about what will make a particular little one’s eyes light up as big as the baubles on our main Christmas tree.

Because the most beautiful present from Father Christmas should say:

I know who you are. I remember you. This surprise is just for you. And that’s exactly why we love personalised presents so much.

Elven secret number one: Father Christmas knows your name!

Imagine a child finding a present from Father Christmas, and on it… their own name.
