How does Santa deliver presents around the world? Secrets of his carriage

30.06.2025

Ho, ho, ho! Hello, my dear friends!

It's Father Christmas - the one for presents, smiles and.... logistical miracles. Today I am taking you behind the scenes of the most important night of the year. How is it possible for me to reach children all over the world in one evening and leave presents for them? Here are some secrets of my magical sled!

Magic sled - the heart of the operation

Reindeer - the indispensable nine

It wouldn't be Santa without the reindeer. They are my best colleagues - fast, strong and incredibly in tune. At the head of the sled is the reliable Rudolf with the red nose. He is the one who lights the way in difficult conditions - you have to believe me, his nose is like a real searchlight.

Here is the full line-up of my unique sled:

  • Rudolf - his red nose shines like a beacon, showing the way even in the densest fog. With his courage and determination, he is a role model for the rest of the team.
  • Kometek - fast and reliable, he is renowned for his lightning-fast pace and excellent sense of direction. Whatever the weather, he can find the shortest and safest route. He loves a challenge and is always the first to set off.
  • Cupid - affectionate and warm-hearted, he brings positive energy to the team and always cares about others. His empathy and kindness help maintain harmony in the group. He can even cheer up Malice.
  • Lightning fast - the fastest of the reindeer, he loves competition and speed. As soon as he hears the sound of bells, he takes off like a shot.
  • The Firthy - stylish and confident, he always makes sure he looks elegant - even when flying. He proudly wears a shiny harness and can fix his hairstyle even in flight. She also has a great sense of humour, which adds lightness to any outing.
  • Dancer - agile and graceful, his movements resemble a dance - even in the air. He loves rhythm and music and often sings Christmas tunes during his flights. His presence makes even the longest journey pass more quickly.
  • Pygmy - confident and ambitious, sometimes a little cocky. He always wants to be the centre of attention and never misses an opportunity to boast. But when the moment of trial comes, he can show that behind his pride is a real heart for work.
  • Professor - smart and poised, he often solves logic problems on the go. He knows almost all the languages of the world and can read any map. Thanks to his knowledge, Santa never loses his way.
  • Mischief-maker - He is easily upset, but can act decisively and courageously in crisis situations. Although he can be rough at times, deep down he cares deeply about the team. When something goes wrong, he is often the first to move into action.

As you can see, each of my reindeer has unique skills - from speed to resistance to magical turbulence!

The sleigh - not just a wooden structure

My sleigh is a marvel of technology! From the outside they look classic, but they hide many unique solutions, such as:

  • Anti-gravity skids that allow flight in any weather - in snow, rain or even when a thunderstorm is coming.
  • A magical time engine that slows down time around me - so that one second lasts longer than in the normal world, and I - in one night. can deliver all the presents.
  • An invisible flight mode so that no one can catch me (not even the lookouts on rooftops!).

Santa's logistics - how do I embrace the whole globe?

Planning and world map

Since January, the elves and I have already been analysing the lists, checking the politeness of the children and updating the maps. After all, we need to know exactly where we have to deliver a particular gift. One of my elves does an address check on all gifts. This ensures that every child - whether they are sleeping in an igloo, a flat in Tokyo or a lovely cottage in the countryside - gets their dream gift.

The magic of the gift bag

My sack has an infinite capacity - thanks to a spell by the 12th century elf Arnez. The gift appears on top of the sack exactly when I need it. No searching, no delays! This is a very convenient solution.

Communication with the elves

During the flight, I am in constant contact with the Command Centre at the North Pole. The elves monitor the weather, air traffic and also the behaviour of the children (are they sure they are sleeping!). We use magic crystals that transmit messages faster than the internet!

Speed secrets - how does it all work?

The biggest secret? Time flows differently for me. Thanks to my quantum-magic-elphic clock, 24 hours on Earth is more than a month for me - enough to time every delivery.

I also have unique route aids, these are:

  • Stardust - I sprinkle it on the reindeer so they don't feel tired. I envy them a lot, because this dust doesn't work on me.
  • Shortcut turns - these are magical tunnels that shorten the route between continents.
  • Chocolate energy charging points - reindeer love sweet motivation!

Bottom line - magic, technology and heart

As you can see, delivering gifts is not just physical work - it's a combination of magic, precision and love for children around the world. And thanks to my sled and everything works like clockwork (magic-elphic, of course!).

See you on Christmas night - remember to leave the cookies!
